Hospitality Marketing & Brand Systems – Cousins Pub
Project Overview
Serve as the ongoing marketing and graphic designer for Cousins Pub, a high-traffic restaurant and bar located on Main Street in Bozeman, Montana. Support brand consistency, event promotion, and in-house communication through strategic design and programming initiatives.
Objective
Increase customer engagement, support seasonal promotions, and drive traffic during both peak and slower business periods through clear, consistent visual communication.
Key Contributions
Weekly Promotional Signage
Designed consistent weekly promotional signage to increase visibility and drive recurring traffic. Each promotion (Late Night Pizza, Dollar Wings, 3 Dollar Thursdays) was developed with clear hierarchy, bold typography, and strong brand alignment to ensure quick readability in a fast-paced bar environment.
Seasonal Event Marketing
Created seasonal event materials for community-driven initiatives such as the Bozeman Christmas Stroll. Promotional assets were designed to integrate seamlessly with existing brand elements while capturing the festive energy of the event to attract both loyal patrons and new visitors.
Menu Redesign & Layout Optimization
Redesigned the food and drink menu to improve readability, organization, and overall brand cohesion. Emphasized typographic hierarchy, spacing, and a clear pricing structure to enhance the customer experience.
Developed and executed a themed watch-night series to boost Monday foot traffic during the slower winter season. Created a cohesive engagement strategy that included branded signage, interactive brackets, bingo cards, and prize incentives, driving repeat attendance, attracting new customers, and increasing food and beverage sales. The series was highly successful and well received by both customers and sponsoring alcohol brand partners.
