Community Mural & Public Art Installation

Project Overview

Contributed to the design and execution of a 50-meter-long community mural for Siracusa Calcio 1924 as part of a study abroad collaboration between Montana State University and the MADE Academy in Siracusa, Sicily.

The Culture

This project aimed to create public art that honors the nearly 100-year-old stadium and reflects the heart of the community.

Existing textures of the aged wall were part of the visual storytelling.

Designed and executed a stylized soccer ball motif rendered in layered shades of blue, incorporating flowing forms inspired by the surrounding sea. Existing textures of the aged wall were intentionally preserved to enhance visual storytelling and authenticity.

Completed Mural

Outcome
